Art Show held on June 15, 2008
Application Deadline: May 1, 2008

River Rites 2008 is the first major festival produced by The Arts Community of Easton (ACE).  It is a combination of elements of the popular former Easton Blues Jam and a fine art exhibit and sales show.
The main thrust of the event is musical performances that take place in Easton, PA.  On June 13th and 14th, musical performances take place in local musical venues.
Also on June 15th, alongside the Grande Finale, the River Rites Art Show will take place on the Riverside Park grounds.
Riverside Park
In the past the Easton Blues Jam drew between 1000 and 1500 people for the Grand Finale in the park.  We expect to see at least the same numbers or more for River Rites 2008.  The event will be well publicized in the eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey press.
Riverside Park is an excellent park for art shows and has been the home for several shows over the years. On the park grounds there is space for up to 50 10’ x 10’ booth spaces.  Our goal for this first event is to have 30 booths of fine art and fine crafts.

We are looking for painters, illustrators, sculptors, photographers, potters, carvers, and other types of fine artists and crafts persons.  We do not allow flea market booths or antique dealers.  The ACE River Rites Jury Committee will review all applications and their decision is final.
