Easton Pennsylvania welcomes River Rites to the calendar of events taking place in 2008.
River Rites is a Music and Arts Festival spanning three days in June.
Starting on Friday June 13th with performances in various music venues in Easton PA area, the festival will culminate with a free and exciting Grand Finale at Riverside Park in Easton PA.
On Sunday, June 15th, over 15 visual artists and crafts people will be presenting their work to the public in a beautiful setting along the Delaware River. Along with the artists, a full day of music is planned in the amphitheatre.
The River Rites Raffle will also be held on Sunday:
- 1st Prize An Acoustic Guitar donated by Guitar Parlor of Riegelsville
- 2nd prize Two Game Tickets donated by the Lehigh Valley IronPigs
Located in downtown Easton, Riverside Park is the city's premiere showcase for live outdoor musical entertainment. The amphitheater situated in the park has excellent outdoor acoustics, a lovely view of the river and seating for 500.
The Grand Finale will include food vendors, and a beer tent
located just steps from the show.
